A laptop that is completely dead, has no display, or shuts down under load usually has a board fault. This is the repair most repair centre will not attempt and will quote you a whole new motherboard for. We diagnose at component level first then provide the suggestions.
The motherboard carries the power circuits, the charging circuit, the storage and memory connections and, on most laptops, the graphics chip. A fault anywhere in that chain can present as a dead laptop, and the symptom on its own does not tell you which part failed.
The common causes are liquid that reached the board, a power surge, a failed charging circuit, and heat damage from years of running with blocked vents. Each one leaves a different signature, which is why the diagnosis comes before the quote.
Being told a motherboard needs full replacement is often a diagnosis of last resort rather than a real finding. Many board faults come down to a single failed component that can be replaced for a fraction of the cost of a new board.
We start with power. Measuring the voltage rails across the board shows where the chain stops, and that usually points straight at the failed stage rather than leaving us guessing.
Then we inspect. Liquid damage, corrosion, burnt components and lifted pads are all visible under magnification once the board is out, and they tell us how the fault happened, which matters for making sure it does not happen again.
Where the fault is a specific component we replace that component. Where the damage is genuinely too widespread to repair reliably, we say so plainly and talk to you about whether replacing the board or the laptop makes more sense, rather than charging you for work that will not hold.
The same five steps every time, so you always know where your laptop is and what it is going to cost.
We find out what has actually failed rather than replacing the part the symptom points at.
You get told what is wrong, what it will cost and whether the repair is worth doing, before any work starts.
The work is done on the bench with the right parts for your model, not a near enough substitute.
We run the laptop properly afterwards to confirm the fault is gone and nothing else has been disturbed.
You collect it, or we drop it back to you in the areas we cover.

Our workshop is in Satellite. These are the areas we currently collect from and drop back to.
Our workshop is in Satellite, near Seema Hall, so this is the area we cover most directly. You can bring a laptop in and talk to the person who will be working on it.
Prahladnagar is a short distance from our Satellite workshop, and it is one of the areas covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service.
Gota is covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service, so a laptop can be collected from you rather than you making the trip to Satellite.
Paldi is covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service, and it is an easy run from our workshop in Satellite.
Maninagar is on the east side of the river and is covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service.
Bapunagar is covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service in east Ahmedabad.
It depends on the laptop and the fault. We give you the diagnosis and an honest view: if the repair does not make financial sense against what the laptop is worth, we will tell you, and we can show you renewed options instead.
We repair at component level where the fault allows it. Full board replacement is the fallback, not the starting point.
Often yes, especially if it was brought in quickly and not repeatedly switched on. Liquid damage is a race against corrosion, so the sooner we can clean the board, the better the outcome.
Board repair does not touch the storage drive in most cases, and we can recover data from the drive separately if the board cannot be saved.
Tell us what your laptop is doing and we will tell you what it needs. Diagnosis first, then a clear price, then the repair.
