A cracked or dead screen makes a working laptop useless. We replace display panels on most laptop and MacBook models, and we check that the damage really is the panel before we quote you for one.
Most screen damage comes from pressure rather than a dramatic drop. Closing the lid on a pen, carrying the laptop by the screen, or a bag squeezing it on a commute is enough to crack the panel or damage the backlight.
Not every display fault is the panel, though. A black screen can just as easily be the display cable, the backlight circuit on the motherboard, or the graphics chip. Replacing the panel in those cases costs you money and fixes nothing, which is why we test before we recommend.
We connect an external monitor first. If the external picture is clean, the fault is in the panel or its cable and a replacement will fix it. If the external picture is broken too, the problem is further back and we tell you that instead of selling you a panel.
We then match the exact panel your model needs. Screens vary by resolution, backlight connector, thickness and whether the unit is touch enabled. Fitting a panel that is nearly right causes flicker and connector damage later.
After fitting, we test brightness across the full range, check for dead pixels, open and close the lid repeatedly to confirm the cable is seated properly, and run the display at its native resolution before we hand it back.
The same five steps every time, so you always know where your laptop is and what it is going to cost.
We find out what has actually failed rather than replacing the part the symptom points at.
You get told what is wrong, what it will cost and whether the repair is worth doing, before any work starts.
The work is done on the bench with the right parts for your model, not a near enough substitute.
We run the laptop properly afterwards to confirm the fault is gone and nothing else has been disturbed.
You collect it, or we drop it back to you in the areas we cover.

On most laptops the glass and the LCD are bonded into one assembly, so the panel is replaced as a unit. Some MacBook models can be repaired at glass level, and we will tell you which applies to yours once we have seen it.
Not necessarily. It could be the panel, the display cable, the backlight circuit or the graphics chip. We check with an external monitor first, which separates those causes in a few minutes.
We match the original resolution and panel type wherever the part is available. If only a different specification can be sourced for your model, we tell you what the difference will be before you agree to the work.
Yes. MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and iMac displays are all handled at our Ahmedabad workshop.
Tell us what your laptop is doing and we will tell you what it needs. Diagnosis first, then a clear price, then the repair.
