Common questions
Do you charge for diagnosis?
Call us and describe the fault and we will tell you what the likely causes are. For a firm answer the laptop needs to be looked at, and we will tell you what that involves before you bring it in.
How long will my laptop take?
Straightforward work such as a battery, a screen or a cooling service is usually quick. Board level repair and data recovery take longer because the diagnosis is the bulk of the work. We tell you a realistic timeframe once we have seen it.
Do you repair laptops that other shops have refused?
Often, yes. A lot of what gets refused is board level work, and that is work we do.
