Plugged in and not charging has four possible causes, and only one of them is the battery. We test all four rather than replacing the most expensive one and hoping.
The adapter is first, and it is the most common. Adapters fail internally, and the cable breaks at the strain point near the plug where it gets bent every day. Nothing about the laptop needs to be opened to find this.
The charging port is second. Cracked solder joints under the port make the connection intermittent, which is why some people find charging works if they hold the cable at an angle.
The battery is third. A battery that has failed completely will not accept a charge at all, and the laptop will run only while plugged in.
The charging circuit on the motherboard is fourth. This is the least common but the one that needs proper board level work, and it is often the consequence of one of the other three being left too long.
We measure the adapter output under load. An adapter can show the right voltage with nothing connected and collapse as soon as the laptop draws current, which is exactly the fault a simple check misses.
We test with a known good adapter, then read the battery health and cycle count directly, and check whether the laptop is detecting the battery at all.
If those are clear, the port and the charging circuit are inspected on the bench. You get told which of the four it is, and what each option costs, before anything is replaced.
The same five steps every time, so you always know where your laptop is and what it is going to cost.
We find out what has actually failed rather than replacing the part the symptom points at.
You get told what is wrong, what it will cost and whether the repair is worth doing, before any work starts.
The work is done on the bench with the right parts for your model, not a near enough substitute.
We run the laptop properly afterwards to confirm the fault is gone and nothing else has been disturbed.

Our workshop is in Satellite. These are the areas we currently collect from and drop back to.
Our workshop is in Satellite, near Seema Hall, so this is the area we cover most directly. You can bring a laptop in and talk to the person who will be working on it.
Prahladnagar is a short distance from our Satellite workshop, and it is one of the areas covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service.
Gota is covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service, so a laptop can be collected from you rather than you making the trip to Satellite.
Paldi is covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service, and it is an easy run from our workshop in Satellite.
Maninagar is on the east side of the river and is covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service.
Bapunagar is covered by our free pick-up and drop-off service in east Ahmedabad.
That is the first thing we establish, and testing with a known good adapter settles it quickly. It is also the cheapest possible outcome, which is why it is worth checking first.
The laptop is receiving power but the battery is not accepting a charge. That can be a failed battery, a charging circuit fault, or in some cases a firmware issue that we can clear.
You can, but if the cause is a loose port, continued use makes the board damage worse. Worth getting it looked at rather than working around it.
Warm is normal, too hot to hold is not. Stop using it and have it tested, because a failing adapter can damage the laptop.
Tell us what your laptop is doing and we will tell you what it needs. Diagnosis first, then a clear price, then the repair.
